Hey everyone, I’ll be live-Google-Hangouting from the MAVEN launch (next mission to Mars) in Florida on Monday morning (November 18th. The launch is at about 10:20 Pacific Time, so tune in around 10am.). That’s right, you get me as an on-location reporter for this launch for the first time ever … I’ve never been to a real in-person launch before. I’ll be watching from the Causeway.

I’ll be co-hosting with Shannon Hall and Sarah Culp, who will be Hangouting from Pacific Science Center. Turn on NASA TV in one browser, and join our Hangout in another. Can’t wait to see you! Wow. BBC – huh. Their date for that clip is November 08. Well, that video of me is from … either _early_ 2008 or back in 2007 … or was it before that? I don’t remember – it wasn’t the November 08 or the ephemeral “recent” one – I didn’t report on either of those, but my clip got picked up for the one in November.

Especially since I was in FLORIDA enjoying the SUN when this happened…

Though it wasn’t before May of 07, because that’s how long my hair’s been blue!

I have been sick for several days, hence the lack of posts. Mostly I’ve been watching Heroes, Season 1, but my brain is awake enough now for something more: Carl Sagan’s Cosmos.

I saw this when I was very young, and I haven’t watched it since. Very young. I was born the year that it was originally released.
